Surrounded by her family, our precious Mom, Grandma, Gigi peacefully became our guardian angel on April 3rd, 2021 at 77 years of age. She has now been reunited with her beloved husband, Harold Christian (2003).
Her cherished memories will forever be held in the hearts of her children Denise Toth (Alex) and Debra Purdy (Scott), her grandchildren Britney Roelens (Mathieu), Brandon Roelens (Liz), Joshua Purdy, the late Jacob Purdy – 2017 (Becca), Shayne Purdy (Morgan) and her great-grandson little Jacob who loved his Gigi the “MOSTEST”.
Dear daughter of the late Walter and Velma Fleming. Cherished sister to Dora Pineau (Jack), Betty Garrett (Ron), Carol Predhomme (Ray), Carl Fleming (Maureen). Predeceased by her siblings Elymer Fleming (Jackie), Lynda Tazzman (Roger Mathurin), Larry Fleming.
Donna was a proud member and actively involved with the T.O.P.S. Organization for many years. She also enjoyed being part of the LaSalle Friendship Club.
A special thank you to Dr. Hamm, the wonderful staff WRH Cancer Centre, Hospice as well as the devoted community nurses and care providers for their dedication, care, and compassion.
She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, if you so desire, donations to the WRH Cancer Centre or Hospice would be appreciated. On Thursday April 8, 2021 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 4pm to 7 pm at Families First, 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841. Words of remembrance will be held at 7 pm. To view the service at home, a live stream link will be available on Donna’s web page.
