Kirtley, Donna Lorraine
Passed away suddenly on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 69. Loving sister of Elda Pirie (the late Ronald). Dear aunt of Nicole (Paul) Bussey and Dean (Karolina) Bezener and great-aunt of Hendrix, Gabriel and Evolette. Sister-in-law of Neil Bezener. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Eleanor Kirtley and her sister Eleanor Ann Bezener.
Donna was a long-time resident and friend of Hillsdale Estates since 2005. She spent the better part of her years there working to improve the lives of residents and their families. Donna was a source of life in the home. She organized barbeques, dinners, parties and themes from crazy hair days to bring your own jerseys. As Resident Council President she worked tirelessly to ensure residents were part of every decision and that they never forgot the value of the people who live there. She will also be missed by her friends and extended family on Stoney Lake.
As per Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Lakeridge Health Foundation. Online condolences may be left at www.armstrongfh.ca
