Obituary of Don F. MacDonald
Passed away peacefully, at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the age of 74. Cherished father of Candy and her husband Patrick Mason. Grandpa will be greatly missed by Courtney and Natalia. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Eva MacDonald. Survived by siblings Tom and Rosemary. Don was proud to have retired in 2012 from the Region of Peel with 26 years of service. He was born in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia and later moved to Ontario. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, going for walks and playing cards. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice and Juravinski Hospital. A heartfelt thanks to Don’s dear friend Helene for all of your kindness and care. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. In Don’s memory, donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be appreciated.
