Peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in his 84th year Son of the late Claire and Lena Brennan. Husband of the late Noreen Brennan. Loving dad of Mark (Nancy), Darlene Inwood (the late Wally) and Dale (Libby). He is predeceased by his son Dennis. Cherished grandpa of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Audrey, Adrian, Barb and Larry. Predeceased by his siblings Bernice, Tim, Terry and Gerald. He will always be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Smith & Son Funeral Home on Monday, June 14, 2021 between the hours of 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Marysville on June 15, 2021. For those unable to enter the church due to Covid restrictions, the Funeral Mass will be broadcast outside of the church on 89.7 FM and you will be able to listen from inside your vehicle. Interment will take place in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery. Due to COVID restrictions all attendees must RSVP directly to the funeral home through the website or email mjsmithandson@cogeco.net to obtain a time to see the family for the visitation and for the funeral. Mandatory COVID 19 protocols will be in effect, including physical distancing outside and inside the funeral home and church and face masks are required at all times.
