Obituary of Donald Malcolm Hannam
Passed peacefully away on December 15, 2021, Donald Malcolm Hannam at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center, Grand Falls-Windsor. He was 90 years of age. Mr. Hannam retired from Abitibi in 1993 and was a member of the Leading Tickles Town Council, Fire Department and various Church activities.
He was predeceased by his parents Minnie Rowsell and Elijah Hannam; step-father Gilbert Rowsell; sisters Doris Stuckless, Eva Peddle, Marjorie Rowsell, Ruby Marsh, and Evleyn Rowsell; brothers Roy, Herbert and Raymond Hannam; grandchildren Kayla Dawe and Jonathan Buckley. He leaves to mourn his wife Joan; sons Austin (Deborah) Bowers, Freeman Hannam, Sterling (Vanessa) Hannam, Larry (Lona) Hannam, Woodrow (Pauline) Hannam, Donald (Marilyn) Hannam, Graham (Danielle) Hannam, Craig (Sue-Ann) Hannam; daughters Brenda Lee Hannam (Felix Rowsell), Lucretia (Wade) Buckley; brother Lewis Peddle; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; lifelong friend Bruce Warford; brother-in-law and friend Jack Stuckless; nephew Kevin Peddle and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
A special thank you to his Home Care worker, Minnie Rowsell for all the loving care you provided to our Dad.

Thank you to Kevin and Julie for many years of giving selflessly. You are the adopted ones and held a special place in Dads heart. We appreciate you more than you could ever know.

Pastor Sarah Lander will conduct the funeral service on Saturday at 2 pm from the Abundant Life Pentecostal Tabernacle in Leading Tickles. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from the Abundant Life Pentecostal Tabernacle in Leading Tickles. Both Vaxx Pass and Photo Id will be required. Interment to follow at the United cemetery, Leading Tickles.
Pallbearers will be Austin, Larry, Woodrow, Donald, Graham Hannam and Kevin Peddle. Honorary pallbearer will be Freeman Hannam.
