Obituary for
Donald Kearley
Donald Kearley, at the age of 59 years, passed away peacefully at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre on May 7, 2021, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Don leaves with loving and treasured memories: his sisters, Judy and Brenda (Jimmy); brothers, Randy (Vera) and Hubert; niece, Tracy (Chris); nephews, Stephen, Dylan (Elise) and Scott; great nieces, Ava and Sienna; caregivers, Roger and Kathleen Paul, and a number of support workers in Gambo, Appleton, Glenwood and Bay D’Espoir; as well as extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Hubert Kearley and Caroline Sutton Kearley; and his brother-in-law, Dan Willcott.
Don was a special person – so loving and full of life! He always had a smile. He always enjoyed having a laugh, using his Tim Hortons “coffee cards”, watching the Montreal Canadians hockey games, bowling with his friends, and his annual trips to Max Simms Camp. He never hung up the phone or said goodbye without saying “I love you” to whomever he was speaking with. He shared a very close and special bond with his best friend/brother, Hubert, whom he lived with his entire life!
A special thank you to all the support workers for their compassionate and attentive care of Don over the years: Pearl, Sadie, Brenda, Jennifer, Terrence, Danica, Steffan, Beattie, Deborah, Lisa, Dennis, Evangeline and Wilson.
Don was a bright light in our lives and will be forever missed!
Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 10th, 2021 at 11:00 am from the Christ Anglican Church, Milltown with Rev Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Head of Bay D’Espoir.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Donald
