Jette, Donald (1939-2021)
It is with great sadness that the Jette family announces the passing of their loving Father, Donald Jette, November 23rd, 2021 at the Timmins and District Hospital. Don is survived by his daughter Suzanne Jette Montigny (Raymond), his son Donald Jr. (Rebecca) his 3 grandsons Christopher, Joshua and Darren, his 2 grand-daughters Afton & Caitlin, his 9 great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Vivianne Lacourse. Don was born & raised here in Timmins, and wore many hats in his long working career: mining and construction hard hats, and Security Guard hats. He was a proud man, a good friend, a good son, brother, husband, and an awesome father & grandfather. He loved with his whole heart and was loved equally in return by his family & friends. Don was predeceased by his loving wife (of 60 yrs) Paulette (nee Mandeville) in 2018, his father Frank (1971), his mother Rose (nee Page -1995) his brothers Armand, Roland, Lawrence, Clarence, and his sister Evelyne (Villars). Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at the McIntosh Springs Cemetery, in Connaught, On., in the spring of 2022. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society in his name. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
