Donald Roderick Cudmore
Donald (Donnie) R. Cudmore,
92, of Moncton, formerly of Bridgedale and Pollett River, passed away
peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, March 3,
2021.
Born in Moncton, he was the
son of the late Percy and Flora (Coy)
Cudmore.
Donnie was a former Machinist
with CNR, retiring in 1984 as an Air Brake Inspector for the Maritime
Provinces. He was also a member of the Knights of Pythias, rising to
the level of Grand Chancellor, lifetime member of Petitcodiac Golf
& Country Club and the Moncton Flying Club. Donnie loved the
outdoors, especially time spent at Pollett River. He was a true
woodsman and “jack of all trades”, had many friends and was
always there to help others.
Donnie will be dearly missed
by his daughter, Linda Pollock (Ralph) of Pollett River; four
grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews
and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by his wife, Irene (Coates) Cudmore (2012); infant
son, Bruce; brothers and sisters, Clayton, Garth, Myrth, Eileen and
Roland.
Arrangements entrusted to
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995).
Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later
date.
