BIDELMAN, Donald Paul (1941-2021)
Peacefully passed away at The Brant Centre on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the age of 80. Cherished husband to Betty for 59 years. Dear father of Gary (Kathy) and Dawn (Tony) and beloved grandfather to Jason, Kaitlyn, Emily and Morgan. Don was born on April 18, 1941 in South Bend Indiana, USA, he served in the US Air Force from 1960-1964 and was honourably discharged. Don came to Canada in 1964 and worked as a Press Operator for Butler Manufacturing until they closed and then retired after 10 years working with Sobeys/Lumsden Brothers. In the late nineties, Don renounced his USA citizenship, and became a Canadian. He loved his family and friends very much and will be missed by many. Special thanks to the staff at the Brant Centre for their kindness and care. As per the family’s wishes a Private Service will take place.
If wished, donations in memory of Don may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton Halton – Burlington.
