Obituary
Don Griffiths of Ponoka passed away at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre on his 93rd birthday.
Don leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 73 years, Carla; his sons Ken (Vivian), Blaine (Bonnie), and Tom (Brenda); 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; his twin sister Doris and his sisters Lorraine, Treva, and June; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Don was predeceased by is parents; brothers Leon and Jim; and his son Murray.
Don loved the outdoors and spent time camping, big game hunting, and horseback riding with family and friends. He also enjoyed curling and watching hockey on television. Don was a good neighbour and friend to many. He will be missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 with a Memorial Reception to follow at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church Hall.
