Peacefully at PRHC on January 20, 2021 in his 90th year. Loving husband of Bessie (Wakelin). Dear step-father of Alan (Jette) Galer of Pickering, Phil (Gail) Galer of Kitchener, Brian (Mary-Elizabeth) Galer of Peterborough and Beverly (Rick) Tupy of Oshawa.
Don retired from the Attorney Generals Office for the Province of Ontario after 35 years of service as an Accounting Clerk. He was a loyal Lions Club member and a volunteer with the Boy Scouts for 24 years, many of those as a Rover Scout leader.
Private family arrangements have been entrusted to Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road. As expressions of sympathy, donation to the PRHC Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences may be left at AshburnhamFuneral.ca
