COCKBURN, Donald Glenn “Don”
Retired Owner, Cockburn Machine Shop, Picton –
Entered into rest at the Hastings Manor Long Term Care Facility, Belleville on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Don Cockburn of Picton died at the age of 89. He was the son of the late Bob & Henrietta Cockburn (nee Milford) and was the cherished husband for 51 years of Betty (nee Dulmage). Don was the loving father of Donna Kelly of Picton and Lori Cockburn of Bradford. He is survived by his siblings Ron (Mary) of Bath and Carol Wager (Peter) of Picton and he will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cockburn is resting at the Whattam-Hicks Funeral Home, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450). A Private Family Viewing was held followed by cremation. A Memorial Service and Family Gathering will be held at a later date. Inurnment in the Cockburn Family Plot at Cherry Valley Cemetery. If desired, donations to Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by Don’s family.
