Obituary
Dad was born on March 18th, 1936 in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan the fourth of five children for Chris and Ruth Davis. They moved to Oliver, BC where he went to school and lived for several years.
He met Audrey Lyseng and in 1962 they were married in West Summerland. They had a daughter, Patti.
Dad took a job managing a grocery store on Vancouver Island where we lived for about 4 years. Another job opportunity came up, working in the saw mill in Upper Fraser. That was the beginning of his forestry career. Working his way to manager, and was then transferred to High Level where he worked until retirement.
Dad enjoyed nature and was an avid hunter and fisherman. After retiring he moved to Likely, BC and enjoyed going to Mexico most winters.
Dad became a grandpa in 1987 when my husband Randal and I had our first child, Nicole and then 1989 when son Scott was born. In 2015, Nicole and her husband made him a great grandpa with their son Kyo.
His last few years were spent in Summerland.
He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Patti, son-in-law Randal, grandchildren Nicole(Eiji), Scott, great grandson Kyo and former wife Audrey Davis. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
