Obituary
Mr. Don Santa of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Pat Santa, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 76.
Don was born in Milk River on January 6, 1945 to Miriam and George Santa. He grew up in Lethbridge where he developed a love for muscle cars. He was very mechanically gifted. Don loved to restore cars. His final project was the 1967 blue Chevy Nova, aptly licensed XMASTOY. Don loved to cruise in his Nova.
Don is survived by his wife Pat; son Donovan (Eirian); step-daughters Tracey Lukacs and Deanna (Rod) Powell; grandchildren Sophia, Ryan, Julie and Joel; brothers Les (Clarice), Skip (Carol), Gary and his sister Janet (Ron) Sheen.
Don was predeceased by his parents and sisters Wilma Winter and Laurette Hutchings. Don and Pat loved to travel and took many international trips with in-laws Sandy and Harry Fischer.
Don has many dear friends and relatives, too numerous to mention. Special coffee friends were a big part of Don’s life since COVID. He looked forward to their morning and afternoon get togethers.
A private celebration of Don’s life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 29, 2021. Those who wish may watch the service via livestream by visiting Martin Brothers website www.mbfunerals.com and scrolling to the bottom of Donald’s obituary.
