Obituary
Peacefully, at home after a courageous fight with family by his side on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Donald Lester Weese of Hay Bay at age 70. Beloved husband of Sylvia Weese (Chalk) and dear father of Scott Weese (Megan Dillenbeck) and Eric Weese (Nicole Morrow). Loving grandfather of Mae, Davis and Harrison and Kaiah and Meira. Brother of Brydon Weese and brother-in-law of Kathy Comeau; George Chalk (Brenda); Ian Chalk (Patricia); Lynne Scaife (Bruce); David Chalk (Nancy); Karen Davey (Tim); Sandy Sills (Rick); Kim MacDonald (Dan); Kevin Chalk (Nancy) and Diane Grose (Dave). His laughter and warm smile will always be remembered. He enjoyed spending his leisure time fishing with family and hunting with his friends. The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Thursday, September 23 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. A Service for Family follows at 11:30 and will be live streamed on the funeral home website by clicking on the button below the obituary 10 minutes prior to service or anytime thereafter. Interment Centreville United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation, the UHKF-Cancer Clinic or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation for Bone Marrow Transplant would be appreciated by the family.
