March 24, 1930 – January 20, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Charles Trott (Dick) announces his passing in the early morning hours of January 20th, 2021 at the age of 90.
Dick was predeceased by his parents Frieda and Alfred Trott. Dick is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Chris Morton (Greg) & his son Russ (Debbie). Grandsons Jeff Morton (Rhonda) and Kevin Trott (Sarah). His Granddaughters Melissa Morton-Godfrey (Lee) and Dana Trott (Brady) as well as his stepchildren Brad White, Barry White, and Karen Kuryk (Richard) and their families, Kim Coates Growly, Marty Coates and their families.
Dick grew up in Waldhof and spent the rest of his life living in and around Dryden. Dick work for over 37 years in the Woodlands Division of the pulp mill in Dryden and enjoyed every day of it, operating various types of heavy equipment. Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing cards, dancing in his later years, and traveling, spending winters in the South and in Kelowna. He faithfully watched the Toronto Blue Jays and the Maple Leaf’s. Dick was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, the Dryden Go-Getters the Sunset Campers and the 25-year Club.
A celebration of Dick’s life will be held when family and friends can gather safely.
