Diane Eunice Millen
Millen, Diane Eunice – Age 61, Bass River, passed away on February 3, 2021 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro and growing up in Londonderry, she was a daughter of Shirley (Flynn) and the late Everett Ryan.
Diane had a heart for children, being a foster mom for many. She was well loved by her entire family. She took great pride in caring for her home and also enjoyed bingo and knitting. Her kind and giving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband of 32 years, Dennis; her children, Allan (Bobbi Joe Lynds), Ryan (Tania Bryanton), Sarah (Allan Miller); grandchildren, James Millen, Dawson Millen, Hailey Miller, Carter Miller, Zoey Ralph-Millen, Sophia Millen, as well as Little Emma; sisters, Tammy (Dan) Garnhum, Skip Ryan (Joanne Kent); many nieces and nephews.
Diane thought the world of her kids, grandchildren and foster kids. She will never be forgotten.
A special appreciation goes to Dr. Donald Rowe and the staff of the CEHHC for the care which you provided to Diane.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. No service at this time. Interment will be held at a later date in Mahon Cemetery, Great Village. If so desired, donations in Diane’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Federation of Foster Families of Nova Scotia.
