1915-2021
Devitta Fearon «Matante», 105, of Moncton and formerly of
Saint-Paul, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the
Moncton City Hospital on Sunday July 11, 2021. Born in Moncton, she
was the daughter of the late John and the late Marie (Thibodeau)
Fearon.
Devitta worked in the mail room at Eaton’s Department Store in
Moncton for approximately 20 years.
She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law; Lorraine Fearon, her
nine nephews and nieces; Lawrence (Lisa), Thérèse (Marcel),
Linda (Paul), Linda (George), Léandre (Marie), Semita
(Aldérice), Gerard, Anne-Marie (Rhéal) and Sandra, as well
as several grand nieces and nephews, great grand nephews and
nieces.
She was predeceased by two brothers; Alphonse and John, one
sister-in-law Anna, three nephews; Oswald, Ronald and John, as well as
one niece Emerise.
There will be a private visitation. A funeral Mass will be held at
the Saint-Paul-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church on Thursday July 15, 2021
at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Devitta’s memory, donations may be made to the Friends of the
Moncton Hospital «Palliative care» on line or by calling
506-857-5488.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
