It is with great sadness after a courageous battle with M.S, the family of Derek Douglas Gimson announces his passing on April 10th, 2021 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Christine Gimson of 41 cherished years. Loving father of Heather, Crystal (Andrew) and Cory (Tiffany). Proud papa of Michael, Khloe, Hunter, Maximus, Samantha, Jackson, Isabella, and Karaline. Predeceased by his parents Doug and Fern Gimson. Derek will be sadly missed and remembered by all who knew him.
As per Derek’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com. Arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF STRATHROY.
