Obituary of Dennis Richard Gleason
Dennis Richard Gleason of Brockville, aged 76 years, loving husband and best friend of 51 years to the late Lynn who predeceased him on December 5, 2020. Proud and treasured dad of Troy (Ellen) and Trent (Bree) of Brockville. Beloved Grandpa to Paige(Jordan), Olivia (Cameron), Breck and Baron. Denny is survived by his sister Nancy(Jean-Paul) as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends that became family. He will be sadly missed by his best friends, Ron Harper and Bill Farmer. Denny is predeceased by his parents Doug and Willa and his brother Robert (Joan).
Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 10:00am until 12:30pm.
A celebration of Denny’s life will be held in the Chapel at 1:00pm. Internment to follow at the Oakland Cemetery. In memory of Denny in lieu of flowers, donations to The Brockville Winter Classic would be gratefully appreciated by the family to honour his love for the game of hockey.
The family has chosen to have full capacity for the visitation and service. For those who will be attending, proof of double vaccination will be required along with the proper identification.
