Obituary of Dennis Nielsen
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dennis Nielsen, resident of Chetwynd, British Columbia, in his home on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the age of 73 years. He leaves behind his wife Rosalie Nielsen, his 3 children Nikole, Deana, and Darin Nielsen (Chantal). His grandchildren Lindsey LaGreca (Guy), Tyler Loder (Catherine), Savannah Drschiwiski, Violet Nielsen, Nora Nielsen and great grandchildren Raegan Tofteland, Sylas Tofteland, Preston Purcell, Paisley Purcell. He worked for 25 years as a Millwright for WestCoast Energy. He retired at the age of 65. He loved all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping, sledding, side by siding backcountry, backyard mechanicing, etc. His love for family kept his heart full and having us all together was his biggest joy. His passion for life and the outdoors left him unforgettable by many. His grandchildren loved his stories and learned by his example that he lived an enjoyable and honest life. He will be greatly missed and remain forever in all our hearts. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
