Denis R. Petit
6 novembre 1943 – 22 avril 2021
Sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu à l’hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls, le jeudi 22 avril 2021, à l’âge de 77 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Estelle (Gaetan) Rocheleau, Pierre Petit, Mario (Jessie) Petit, la mère de ses enfants Lorraine (née Sauvé) Petit, ses petits-enfants : Martin (Catherine), Stéphanie (Diego), Cory, Chad et son arrière-petite-fille Marilou.
Denis laisse également nombreux neveux et nièces et amis.
Il est allé rejoindre ses parents Adélard et Stella (née Blais) Petit, ses frères Gérard, Yvon et sa sœur Violette.
Denis as travaillé comme superviseur à Hydro One, aimait beaucoup aller à la pèche et la chasse et quelqu’un de très habile avec ses mains.
Tout en respectant les vœux de Denis, l’incinération a eu lieu et ses cendres seront placées au cimetière de Strickland à une date ultérieur.

Mr. Denis Robert Petit
November 6, 1943 – April 22, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Denis on Thursday April 22, 2021 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 77. He will be dearly missed by his children Estelle (Gaetan) Rocheleau, Pierre Petit, Mario (Jessie) Petit, mother of his children Lorraine (née Sauvé) Petit, his grandchildren: Martin (Catherine), Stéphanie (Diego), Cory, Chad and his great-grand-daughter Marilou.
Denis also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and friends
He was predeceased by his parents Adélard and Stella (nee Blais) Petit and all of his siblings Gérard, Yvon and Violette.
Denis worked as a foreman at Hydro One, loved to go fishing & hunting and was a “Jack of ALL Trades”.
As per Denis’ wishes, cremation will take place & his remains will be intern in the Strickland cemetery at a later date.
