Obituary of DeLoris Skilliter
Skilliter, B. DeLoris (nee Stanton)
Loving, devoted, best friend and wife of Alan Skilliter for the past 30 years. Passed away peacefully at her home in Milford Bay on Monday January 11th, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. With her loving husband, faithful and beautiful sheltie dog “Pebbles” at her side in her 75th year. Loving mother of Shelley Cryderman (Rick) of Orillia. Loving grandmother of Tanya and Tyson (Haileigh) Crydermand of Orillia. Much loved step mother of Cheryl Wilson (Ed), Jody Herbert (Wayne) of Barrie, and daughter in law Laura Skilliter of Sudbury. Loving step grandmother of Krista Limon (Frederick) and her daughter Summer of Barrie Dakoda Huffman of Bracebridge and Kelsey, Katrina and her son Kurtiss, Keiffer and Keenan of Sudbury. Dear sister of Marlene Rankin (late Johnny), Bev (Debbie) Stanton, the late Bill and Barb Stanton and the late Blake Stanton of Orillia. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Charlotte Stanton. DeLoris had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Alan and DeLoris always travelled together and enjoyed canoeing, and vacationing in Temagami. “Me & Pebbles shall miss DeLoris FOREVER”
Cremation has taken place. At this time no services will be held.
