Obituary of Delores Marie Mauger
MAUGER, Delores Marie – age 83 of Dayspring passed away November 9th, 2021, in Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born on February 22, 1938, in Isle aux Morts, Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late Nathan and Margaret Walters. Surviving is her daughter, Tina (Wayne) Risser; sons, John (Erna) Maddox; James (Laura) Maddox; David (Shelley) Maddox; Scott (Lisa) Mauger; stepchildren, Brian (Eva) Mauger; Gloria Leamon; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Herbert; sisters, Sophie Ford, Elizabeth Bowles; brothers, Nathan Walters, and Roland Walters. The family wishes to express a sincere thank-you to the Lunenburg County Home Support, private care giver, Liz Bond, the staff at Harbourview Haven Nursing Home in Lunenburg, as well as the Doctors and Nurses at Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital. A private family graveside service will be held in Dayspring Cemetery, Dayspring. Family flowers only please. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.
