Deborah’s Obituary
GILLIS, Deborah Elizabeth ~ Age 68 of Greenwood passed away August 30, 2021, in QEII, Halifax. Born in Ottawa, ON, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Betty (Lawrence) Faulkner. Debbie worked in sales for Industrial Kitchens. She enjoyed most sports, including gymnastics, curling, and swimming. She enjoyed travelling locally and throughout the Atlantic provinces. Debbie will be sadly missed by her husband, George, son, Cory (Candice) Gillis, Oromocto, NB; sisters, Patricia “Pat” Faulkner, Charlottetown, PEI, Christina Faulkner, Collingwood; brothers, Eric (Bev) Faulkner, Bracebridge, ON, Clayton (Barb) Faulkner, Stratford, PEI; grandchildren, Jackson Alexander, and Maggie Eloise. There will be a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm, September 11, 2021, in the Middleton Funeral Home with Deacon Don Boudreau officiating. Due to pandemic gathering restrictions, there will be limited seating, masking, social distancing, and hand sanitizing are required at the Memorial Service. A live webcast of the memorial service will be available for viewing through the funeral home website ‘Live Stream’ option beginning at 12:55 p.m. ADT, Saturday, September 11, 2021. A private interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Debbie’s memory can be made to the Brain Injury Association or a Charity of Choice.
