Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Debbie, our loving wife, mother, and grandmother. There are no words that can describe our pain.
For those of you who know Debbie, you know that her passion was family. She met and married the love of her life, Gordie, in 1978. Together they had two children, Darcy and Angie.
From there they had nine grandchildren, including step grandchildren, all of whom Debbie loved with everything in her.
Debbie was predeceased by her mother Joyce Fraser; step-father Dolphus Burke; her brother Bill Fraser and her sister Jean Courtorielle.
She is survived by her loving husband Gordon Hurrie, son Darcy Hurrie (Stephanie), daughter Angie DeLancey (Clayton), grandchildren Heaven, Adrianna, Cassie, August, Michael, Rhyan, Camryn, Reagan, Kyrie; and great-grandchild Kinsley.
Her brothers Russell Fraser and Gregory Fraser, as well as her sister Patti Boston and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
At Debbie’s request no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or to Extendicare Athabasca Resident Council, where Debbie worked for many years.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Deborah Ann Hurrie June 11 1956 June 17 2021 (age 65)..
