Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear David on November 16th, 2021. David was born on June 24th, 1973 in Saskatoon, SK to proud parents, Max and Dalice Abraham and was soon joined by siblings, Brady and Alicia.
David was a spirited, energetic and adventurous child with big blue eyes and blonde hair. From a young age he distinguished himself physically. Athletic and strong but cautious at the same time, David would often make his younger siblings take the first plunge to test the waters for him. He was kind and gentle to all but with a flair for mischief.
David was a loyal and genuine friend. The connections he made in his youth were strong and remained into adulthood. In the words of a friend, “he had the biggest heart, wore it on his sleeve and taught us that it was okay to do the same.” David excelled in his athletic pursuits. Being involved in sports was an important part of who he was. He was especially proud of playing for the Saskatoon Hilltops for 5 years. David’s lifelong dream of becoming a firefighter was accomplished in 1996.
The proudest moments of David’s life were the birth of and the time spent with his children, Luke and Zara. When asked what David was most grateful for, the answer was always, “my children”.
David was predeceased by his grandparents, Harold and Catherine Abraham and Rex and Alice Bovee. David’s life will be remembered by his precious children, Luke and Zara Abraham, and their mother, Lenore Abraham. His devoted parents, Max and Dalice Abraham, siblings Brady (Jill) Abraham (Leo and Anika) and Alicia (Matthew) Regier (Max, Samuel, Jonah) and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
David wanted his family and friends to know how much he loved them.
His heart was too big for this world.
Please live your life with joy in David’s memory.
