Obituary of David S. Gilbert
The death of David Stewart Gilbert of Ripples, NB occurred Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Born in Ripples, NB he was the son of the late King and Evelyn (Tibbits) Gilbert.
Survived by a daughter, Donna Yates (Ian); sons, Michael (Paulette) and Davy Gilbert; companion, Lourice LeBlanc; grandchildren, Kiera, Jaimie and Aiden; brother, Wallace Gilbert; chosen brother and best buddy, Dennis Tibbits; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his wife, Joan (Scribner) Gilbert in 2013; brothers, King, Ben, Paul, Bob, Bill, Jack, Mack, Jerry, Joseph and James; sisters, Faye Bonnell and Marguerite Hunziker.
A graveside service will take place 11:00AM July 1st, 2021 from Ripples Community Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the MMHS Breakfast Program would be greatly appreciated by the family.
