Obituary of David Landon Mercer
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Port Colborne Hospital at the age of 82.
Much loved husband of Sharon (nee Manley) and cherished father of Nicola (Doug Choong) Mercer, Michelle (John Williams) Mercer, Claire (Jean Aubrey-Morin) Miller and Erica Mercer. Loving granddad of Emily, Lydia, Grace “Marli” and Jonathan.
Forever missed by his sister Diana (Tom) Talbot, brother in law Garth Manley, sister in law Denise (the late James) Norris, cousin Tony (Doreen) Potter of Burlington and his many cousins in England.
Also survived by nieces and nephews Jane Talbot, Anna (Richard) Stevens, Andrew Manley, David Manley and Cheryl Manley and their families.
David for many years owned and operated Blue Ocean Pools and Arctic Blue Covers. Many individuals in our community knew or worked for him. He was a member of the Be In Christ Church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. A private family service will be held in the Armstrong Chapel with burial to follow at Zion Cemetery.
