Obituary of David Collicott
David passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on October 4, 2021. Born in Shirehampton, England on July 17, 1941, David Henry Collicott of Owen Sound, was in his 81st year.
Beloved husband of Gwynneth Collicott (née Duck) for 61 years. Loving father of Stephen (Dawn) of Owen Sound, Andrew (Kim) of Owen Sound, Richard (Jennifer) of Kanata and Michael of Owen Sound. Cherished granddad of Tristin, Carl, Richard, Heloise, Ashley, Dana, and great-granddad of Riley, Nadia and Charlie. Dear brother of Suzanne Sutherland, and brother-in-law of Valerie Collicott, Linda Duck, Marion Duck, Barbara Sheppard (Brian) and Mervyn Duck (Anita), all of England.
Predeceased by his parents Henry and Ivy Collicott (née Williams), his brother Michael Collicott, his sister Gillian Shadbolt, and his brothers-in-law John and Glyn Duck.
A funeral service to celebrate David’s life will be held at The Salvation Army Owen Sound Community Church, on Friday, October 15 at 1 p.m. Attendees must wear a mask, follow social distancing protocols and compacity is limited. Those who cannot attend can view the service via livestream on the funeral home website.
