Obituary of David Baxter
Baxter, David – Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his residence on Sunday, December 19th, 2021 in his 87th year. Reunited with his wife Ann (nee: Sutherland).
Loving father of John (Tricia), Tom (Judy), Susan (Willie), Mary, and Judy (Kevin). Cherished grandfather of Mikayla (Jacob), Maddison (Ryan), Jake, Declan, Grace, Sam, Ansley, Ceciley, Sophie, Briar, Tess, Hayden, Parker and Tennyson. Great Grandfather to Maverick. Beloved Partner of Jane. Thanks to caregivers, Dr Bernadette McNeil, Shelley, Eva and Lisa. Dave was so appreciative of all the support that he received through his final journey. He wanted his friends and family to know how much it meant to him to have such an outpouring of love.
“The only thing you need to learn, is just to love, and to be loved in return”

He will be deeply missed by many extended family, friends and all who knew him. In lieu of flowers Dave asked that donations be made to the Bruce Trail Conservancy. With COVID and Christmas, there will not be a memorial at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring. At his request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave, Brantford, ON, 519-752-4331.
A tree will be planted in memory of David, in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of David
