David Woodford 2021

The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Patrick and the late Josephine (née Sullivan) Woodford. Beloved husband of Pauline (née Dufresne) Woodford. Loving father of Véronique Schroeder (Terry) and Shaun Woodford. Dear brother of Milee Woodford-Valerio, Brian Woodford (Johane) and Marie Woodford-Egglestone (Phil). Predeceased by his sister Sheila Woodford (late Mike). Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Jayson and great-grandfather of Joshua and Mia. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. David was a miner at Vale for 31 years and was happiest spending his time fishing and with his family and friends at his little slice of heaven on Manitoulin Island. A special thank you to my family for their support and also to the wonderful care received from the 5th floor nurses at HSN. Rest in peace, you will always be loved and forever missed. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the Chapel. Due to the pandemic, there will be restrictions on the number of attendees. Wearing of masks and social distancing will be required. Donations in his memory can be made to Pet Save INC. (Northern Ontario). www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
