David James Schultz March 3 2021

Schultz, David James – We are heartbroken to have to announce that on March 3, 2021, shortly after puck drop, Dave passed away suddenly from an aneurysm, at the age of 61.
Dave enjoyed woodworking. He’d spend countless hours in his shed creating beautiful furniture pieces that we will cherish forever. He liked searching the internet for our next big adventure. It was often joked about how he should have been a travel agent, finding such great deals. We enjoyed a Caribbean cruise, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Everyone knows Dave’s love for the Boston Bruins. His most favourite trip was a surprise gift from our son, Cody to Boston. The two took in a Bruins vs. Montreal game and afterwards met the players of their beloved team. Dave was still showing the pictures to anyone that would look.
Surviving are his wife and best friend, Cindy; his son and biggest joy of his life, Cody(Sarah); twin brother, Darrell and sister, Bev; brother & sister in-law, Glen and Sandy Cole. Also many loving cousins, nieces and nephews; and his furry grandkids, Chase, Carlos, Oakley, and Dusty.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Tessie Schultz; brothers, Eddie, Wayne and Gary; and in-laws, Reg and Barb Keddy.
We know that life will never be the same, we have lost our best friend, but we will all be together again someday. Dave will live on in the stories we tell, he always loved to tell a good story.

  1. Dear Cindy and Cody.
There are no words to describe the depth of pain you both must feel. A sudden loss like this, offers little comfort, but your memories, and stories of Dave will. I admired Dave for his sense of humour, his love of family, and his outlook on living a life that has both joy and laughter. I am so very sorry for you loss. We are holding you both in our hearts.- Cora and Cathie Cole

  2. Cindy and Cody, my deepest condolences for the passing of Dave. I know how deep your family bond is and hope that you can find comfort for each other. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
