David J. Butler
David J. Butler, 77, of
Shediac, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday,
January 5, 2021. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Stewart
and Anne (McMahon) Butler.
David worked as a Boat Captain
and Diver through his career. He was an avid sports shooter, enjoyed
scuba diving, travelling, and was a lover of animals, especially dogs
and cats; he will also be remembered as a real ladies
man.
David will be sadly missed by
his son, Michael Butler (Anna); granddaughter, Jessica Butler;
sisters, Brenda Murphy (Rick), Darlene Phillips (Ronnie) and Donna
Butler; as well as several nieces, nephews, sweet Ginette and extended
family.
In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by his brother, Dwight
Butler.
Special thanks to Forestdale
Nursing Home for taking care of David over the last
year.
In keeping with
David’s wishes there will be no visitation hours or funeral
service.
