On Monday, August 23rd, 2021, David Herbert Spurr, in his 87th year, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Rita, whom he adored. He will be sadly missed by his three children David (Beverley), Brian (Lynne) and Linda (Wayne), and his grandchildren Jason, Ryan (Kate) and Lindsay. Forever remembered by his great grandchildren Shaylah, Blake, Jacob, Leah and Lyle. David will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Margaret and Marion, their families and the many good friends he has made throughout his lifetime.
Don’t think of him as gone away
his journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.
