Obituary for David & Brenda Johnson
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Edward Paul Johnson on September 30, 2021 at the age of 85 and his wife Brenda Maureen (nee Edgar) in 2020. David is the son of Ed and Agnes Johnson (Humphries) and was predeceased by his first wife Julia Johnson (Machula) in 1979. Brenda is the daughter of the late Ernie and Margaret Edgar. Father to Cheryl Johnson (Michael Phinney), Jeffrey Johnson. Grandson Dana (Lindsay) Johnson and great-grandson Rylan of Calgary Alberta. Dave and Brenda both born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. Dave worked for Shell Refinery, Brenda for the Fort Gary School Division. They retired early and enjoyed renovating and entertaining friends and neighbours for many years at the Wendigo Cottage in Lac du Bonnet, where a goodtime was sure to be had, and their many winter travel vacations. They moved to Wallaceburg in 2018 to be closer to family care. Dave also leaves behind siblings Gertrude, Marion (Larry), Herb (Leslie), Robert (Lynn). Brenda was an only child and was predeceased by her daughter Cheryl Sol. They will be sadly missed by family and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, 519-627-3231. Dave and Brenda will be laid to rest at a later date in Winnipeg
