Obituary of Dave Carmichael
September 3, 1948 – November 5, 2021
John “Dave” Carmichael, age 73 year, passed away on November 5, 2021 at Rosthern, SK. John was born on September 3, 1948 to Audrey & John Carmichael. Dave was employed by Gulf and Petro Canada for many years and he did books for several business after retirement. He loved spending time with family and friends at the family cabin at Easttrout Lake.
John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie Carmichael; daughter Tracy Davis (John Montgomery) , and grandchildren, Mackenzie (Orrin) Hamm, Jacob Davis; son John Carmichael and grandchildren, Brooke, Johnny, and Ty Carmichael; sisters, Yvonne Boudreau, Roberta (Kelly) Hilkewich; brother James (Joan) Carmichael; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Nelson.
He is predeceased by his parents John & Audrey Carmichael; parents-in-law Mary & Jack Bueckert; sister Sharon Ferguson; brothers, Robert Carmichael, Rodger Carmichael; and son-in-law Tim Davis. A come and go Memorial Gathering on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Waldheim MB Church from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Memorial Donations can be made to Sask Valley Hospital Foundation, Box 93, Rosthern, SK S0K 3R0. Arrangements are entrusted to Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
