Brigham, David Lingford
The passing of David Lingford Brigham of Oromocto, NB, husband of Edith (Coldwell) Hughes-Brigham, occurred on November 22, 2021 at White Rapids Manor. Born on September 16, 1938 in England. He was the son of the late John and Lily (Askwith) Brigham. Dave was a self-employed Craftsman. He was a very talented wood worker and carver. He lived his life as a gentle, loving and kind man.
Dave is survived by daughters, Jillian Brigham (Jerry Wilson) of Fredericton, NB and Susan Brigham (Richard Gale) of Bedford, NS; sons, John Brigham (Claire) of Fredericton, NB and Steve Brigham (Janice) of Moncton, NB; step children, Kim Hughes (Lynn) of Fredericton, NB and Tim Hughes (Susan) of Pictou, NS; grandchildren, Nicole, Louise, Jeremy, Jared, MacKenzie, Ryan, Helena and Lily; step grandchildren, Daina, Dylan, Louisa, Jessie and Eric; great grandchildren, Lillie, Max, Holden, Gwen, Katie, Eric, Ben, Kennedy, Greyson and Stevie Lou; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Ford and Eleanor Gale; first wife Patricia (Fowler) Brigham.
Special thank you to the staff of White Rapids Manor for the exceptional care Dave received during the four years he resided there.
A graveside service will be held at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Keswick Ridge. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com

  1. Nancy and I (Ivan Rideout) send our heart-felt sympathy to David’s wife and family. We got to know and appreciate David and his craftsman ship while he was building our house in Mactaquac in the 70’s.
