Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darryl James McLure at the age of 77. Beloved husband and best friend to the late Carol (nee Lajeunesse) (2006). Loving father to Dr. Paul McLure (Sabrina) of Windsor, Chris McLure (Melissa) of Port Perry and Kevin McLure of North Bay. Cherished grandfather to Loren and Gianluca, Hailie, Tessa and Creed, Emily, Kylie and Quinten. Predeceased and reunited with his parents, Duncan and Iva McLure, in-laws, Joseph and Vivian Lajeunesse and sister Charlotte (2021). Survived by his sister Sandra McLure. Predeceased by his brother-in-laws Gilbert (Doris), Robert and Leonard Lajeunesse. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well his many family and friends. Darryl was a retiree from IBM after many years of dedicated service. He was a proud member of the North Bay Hunters and Anglers Association and President of The Trout Lake Conservation Authority, where he enjoyed spending time with friends. Darryl was an avid fisherman and spent many wonderful years creating memories with his children and grandchildren on Trout Lake, North Bay.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Extendicare Tecumseh for their dedication and care towards our father these past two years.
Following Darryl’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with his family on the tribute wall.
