Obituary of Darlene GALIARDI
September 18, 1928 – Swift Current, Saskatchewan
March 1, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta
Darlene Galiardi, beloved wife of the late Bill Galiardi, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the age of 92.
Darlene was born on September 18, 1928 in Swift Current, SK to Carl and Nellie Johnson. Darlene grew up on the farm in Stewart Valley. She graduated from Scott Collegiate High School in Regina in1945 and married Bill in 1950. Darlene enjoyed playing cards, gardening and golfing with her many friends at the Calgary Elks Club. She started her successful business selling Nutri-Medics in the 1970’s, travelling all over the world on many conventions. They loved to spend their winters in Phoenix and Palm Springs areas.
Darlene will be remembered as a loving person and a great cook. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Rick (Karen) and Terry (Lori); grandsons, Rylan (Ashley), TJ (Paulina) and Daniel(Christy); and four great-grandchildren.
