Layman, Darlene (nee Trussler) – Passed away
peacefully from dementia while residing at Saint Luke’s
Nursing Home on May 1st, 2021 at the age of
60. Darlene was known for her love of cooking and gardening
by co-workers and beloved family and friends. Survived by her husband
of 40 years Glenn, and her brother Gary (Grace). Cherished mother of
daughter Alissa (Alex) and son Trevor (Jessica). Proud Grandmother to
Kieran, Zephyra, Meishka, Brayden, Cypris, Mackenzie, Kylah, and
Hunter. Darlene will also be remembered fondly by her
extended family and friends. As an expression of sympathy donations
may be made to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society.
