Darlene Alfreda Johnson 2021

JOHNSON, Darlene Alfreda (née Mason) – Peacefully and surrounded by family at her residence on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the age of 61. Beloved wife of Mike Johnson for 39 years. Cherished mother of Luke Johnson and his wife Natalie Orr, and Chris Johnson and his wife Tori. Loving Nana of Landon Watson, Cullen Johnson, Cameron Johnson, and Sawyer Johnson. Adored sister of Donna Stoner and her husband Brian, Bob Mason and his wife Janice; sister-in-law of Rhonda Turcotte and her husband Michael; and daughter-in-law of Isla Johnson. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bruce and Norma Mason and father-in-law Bill Johnson. Darlene was fortunate to have a wide circle of treasured friends: The “Golf Girls”; the (now grown) children and their families whom she cared for when she ran her home daycare; the friends she made during her 30-year career working in the Deli Department at Foodland; and so many more. Darlene was most proud of her boys – her husband, sons and grandsons. She was an incredible Wife, Mom and Nana who will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. An outdoor Celebration of Darlene’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Murray and Carol Rice, 083594 Southgate Road 8, Mount Forest. Covid protocols will be in place, wearing a mask is encouraged. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Darlene are asked to consider the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
