Darleen Gail Hoefer nee Hanna July 27th 2021

June 24, 1971 – July 27, 2021
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Darleen Gail (Hanna) Hoefer on the 27th day of July 2021. Darleen was born on June 24, 1971 in Kelowna, BC. She was the daughter of Tom and Gail Hanna (Lewis) of Armstrong, BC and was the second of their two children.
Darleen’s family moved to Armstrong in 1979 after residing in Blue River, BC. Darleen married one of her school mates, Peter Hoefer on July 14, 2001. Her family feels that one of her greatest accomplishments was making a wonderful, loving home for her family and being the leading member of the team that raised her two amazing children Cole Hoefer and Amelia Hoefer and her legacy of being an amazing cook and baker and artist.
Darleen is survived by her mom and dad, her brother Todd Hanna (Cheryl), her loving husband Peter, son Cole Hoefer, daughter-in-law Maartje van Lindert and daughter Amelia Hoefer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Darleen’s name to the North Okanagan Hospice Society (3506 27th Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4).
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services in Armstrong. Click the link to view the live stream: www.myalternativeslive.ca/
