CLAPPERTON, Darla Dorothy
Darla (Bain) Clapperton died suddenly, at her home in Loring, on Thursday, March 4, 2021. She was 80 years old. Darla was the beloved mother of Kelva Hartle (Richard) of Calgary, Hollie Ford (the late Don) of Whitehorse, Tracie Bruneau (Darrin) of North Bay and Michael Clapperton (Sarah) of Loring. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Darla was the dear sister of Ernie Bain of Parry Sound and Rodney Bain of Mississauga. She was predeceased by her siblings Erla Weller, Helen King and Eddy, Ivan and Walter Bain. The family will receive visitors at Arnstein Gospel Hall on Thursday, March 11 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Due to COVID-19 limitations, maximum 50 people at one time. Masks must be worn; hand sanitation is required, and physical distancing must be maintained. A closed funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12 at 2:00 pm and will be accessible via Zoom. To attend the Zoom service please cut and paste this link into your browser:

Spring interment will take place at Loring Community Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to MSC Canada or Loring Community Cemetery are suggested. For more information, please call Paul Funeral Home, Powassan at 705-724-2024.
