Obituary of Darcy Thomas Curry
CURRY , Darcy Thomas – age 51 of Lantz, passed away at home on May 18, 2021. Born in Truro, he was a son of Maxine Curry, of Enfield, and the late Hugh Curry.
Family was very important to Darcy. He was always willing to help family and friends without a second thought. His true passion in life was baseball. He was a talented player and always seemed to have an abundance of energy and love for the sport. He loved his job at Kenny-U-Pull / AIM, but it was more than just a job as he was welcomed into Dwayne and Mariea’s family with open arms. Darcy had a great network of friends; too many to name names, but you know who you are.
He is survived by his children, Erin, Jessica, Brandy, Thomas, Kelsie and Devon; grandchildren, Brayden, Jaxson, Taya; siblings, Dion (Cissy) Enfield; Devon (Shelley) Halifax; Shannon (Gerry) Lantz; nieces, Chantel, Mandi, Samantha, Cienna and Erika; nephew, Ethan.
He was predeceased by his father, Hugh; nephew, Tyler Curry.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A celebration of Darcy’s life will be planned at a later date, due to the pandemic.
Donations in memory of Darcy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
