Danny Chin
The family announces his peaceful passing at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 94.
Loving husband of Yuk Chun Chin. Dear father of Larry Chan (Hui Zhen), May Chin (Philip), Ina Elford-Chan (Robert), Diane Westhaver (Robert), and Gail Aitoro (Alex). Loving grandfather of Veronica, Spencer, Stephanie, Kee-Ann, Courtney, Ryan, Robert Jr., Alexandra, Christopher and Nancy; and great-grandfather of Quinton and Bryson. Dear brother of Celia Moy. Predeceased by his parents Yee Foo and Haw Chin.
Danny was an icon at the Peacock Garden Restaurant. He was a part owner and will always be remembered as the smiley face that greeted patrons at the front.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Timmins and District Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Friday September 17, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Respecting the current pandemic provincial guidelines, wearing of masks, physical distancing and maximum capacity will be in place. A private family service will be held at 11 a.m., which will be livestreamed on the funeral home Facebook page. Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery will follow.
