Obituary of Daniel Vansevenant
Vansevenant, Daniel G. of Dorchester Terrace and longtime resident of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of 64 years to Denise (Trio) Vansevenant. Dear father of Gary(Debbie) and Danny(Terri). Loving papa of Kaylie(Kory), Morgan(Dom), Renee(Jon), Samantha(John) and great-papa of Kiptyn, Kash and Lekci. Brother of Godelieve, Mike, Gabriel, Anna and Agnes. Brother-in-law to Denise of Langton. Predeceased by his siblings Jozef, Maria, Gerard, Madeleine and Rosa. Born in Torhout, Belgium on July 2, 1931, son of the late Rene and Irma Julia (DeVos) Vansevenant. Daniel took great pride in his tobacco farms and in later years his home on Hacienda Road. His landscaping, flowerbeds and particularly his lawn was immaculate. The Vansevenant family were a true “hockey family.” Daniel and Denise were always at the arena supporting and cheering on their grandchildren. Daniel served on the Aylmer Minor Hockey Board and was a faithful member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation at H.
