Entered into rest at the Ottawa General Hospital on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Danielle Elizabeth Wiseman at the age of 36. Beloved wife of Sean Lavallee. Dear daughter of John (Sylvie) and Ellen (Howard), sister of Heather (Allan) and Samantha. Also survived by her paternal grandparents Wilma Spracklin and Kenneth Wiseman. Brothers in law Eric (Adam), Ian (Phil) and sister in law Sarah. Her in laws Francois and Janis Lavallee. Sean’s grandmother Jean Elliot whom Danielle thought of as a grandma. God parents David and Diane Doxtater. Many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by her maternal grandparents George Barry Kittle and Theresa Kittle.
Danielle graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, N.S. with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours and she received a Master of Arts Sociology degree from Carleton University, Ottawa.
Danielle was a huge fan of the World Junior Hockey Tournament. She traveled to Czech Republic in December of 2019 for the 2020 World Juniors and attended many other tournaments, including the Vancouver Olympics. A fan of NHL teams, as well she took many trips to Detroit and to the CTC to watch the Ottawa Senators. In honor of Danielle please wear your team Canada jersey or your favourite team on Thursday. She enjoyed traveling.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, December 23rd from 11:30 – 1:30 pm when a celebration of Danielle’s life will be held in the Chapel.
Covid protocol will be followed with registration required by all guests attending by calling our office at 613-342-2828 between 9am to 4:30 pm.
A celebration of life will be held in Ottawa at a future date.
