BASS RIVER, NB – Daniel Knockwood 64, of Bass
River, formely of Lennox Island, PEI passed away at this residence on
Friday, October 8, 2021. Born in Summerside, PEI he was the
son of the late Bernard MacMillan and late Helen (Farrow)
MacMillan. Daniel was employed as a housing inspector for
over 40 years.
Daniel will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Sandra
(Gauthier) Knockwood of Bass River; two daughters, Dawne Knockwood
(Nick) of Charlottetown, Brandy Googoo (Cory) of Bass River; two sons,
Ryan Knockwood of Charlottetown, Kevin Labobe (Judy) of Lennox Island;
seven grandchildren, Joshua, Kenny, Dezaray, Cole, Eelix, Marshall,
Quinton and two great grandchildren.
He is also survived by two sisters, Martha Francis (late
Joey) and Louise Knockwood both of Manchester, NH; sister-in-law,
Sandra Gauthier of Charlottetown and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by is biological
mother, Madeline Knockwood; five sisters, Virgina, Laura, Shirley,
Carol, Yvonne and four brothers; Jacob, Michael, Charlie and
Richard.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral home
on Tuesday from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at
Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Wednesday, October
13, 2021 at 11:00 am.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, visitors will be
required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and
government issued ID at the funeral home, masks are mandatory and we
ask that social distancing is respected.

Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto (523-4252).
