The work and worries are over for long time farmer, Dale (Douglas) Tipping from Dundee, Quebec. Dale, aged 88 years, passed away April 23, 2021 at the Barrie Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 22,1932 in Venice, California to Douglas R. and Gertrude Miriam (Simpson) Tipping. Dale is survived by his wife of 37 years, Genevieve (Jenny), his sons Jeffrey (Céline), Brent (Eilleen) and Paul (Sheila). Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of his grandchildren Nicholas, Kalan, Shane, Alanna (Matthew), Chelsea (Tony), Kayla (Garett), Matthew (Beth) and Riley. He is also survived by Genevieve’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, a large circle of loving relatives, long-time neighbors and friends. Predeceased by his sisters Jean (late Donny Ryan) and Miriam (late Bill Gibb). Anyone wishing to honor Dale, can make donations in his name to Godmanchester Fire Department, 2282 ch. Ridge, Godmanchester, Quebec, J0S1H0, the Leukemia Society of Canada or your choice of organizations. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral will be held in the intimacy of the family.
